Here we are, with the two happy newlyweds at our doorstep. She is completely oblivious as to the trouble she has caused! Such a young girl, and such arrogance. I cannot believe that I raised this monster. We will see how the visit goes. Overall, this is a sad day for me.
My dear Father, I believe all of us here at Longbourn are sharing the anguish in regards to Lydia's stupidity. It is best for us to move on; however, because one day Lydia will realize the error in judgement she made. For now, it is up to her to mature.
ReplyDeleteIt is both a good and bad thing that they are married! I am happy that she is happy but she has caused a lot of drama!
