Oh... great.

Who would have thought! My own Lydia and that lying Wickham. Well, I suppose there isn't much I can do now. None of my daughters listen to me much anymore. I believe that if they do get married it won't be such a bad thing, and Wickham may make a good addition to our family.

  1. Father, I just wanted you to know that I feel responsible for what happened with Lydia. I knew about Wickham's reputation and did nothing to stop anything from happening. Please forgive me. I seriously doubt that Wickham will do any good to this family.

  2. I object! Wickham is a bad man! He wants money and will do anything in his power to get it. If you were to know what he has done to me you would stop this. It is for your reputation and lYdia that you should put a stop to them.

  3. I also disagree. I cannot see Wickam being a good addition to your family. He will always be after money. It is too late to stop it because hen you family's reputation will be destroyed. You should have kept Lydia at home instead of letting her go to Brighton. That was a bad idea, and your foolish choice proved fatal. I also take credit for not telling you about the real Mr. Wickam, a bad man.

  4. Just as I predicted. Lydia is much too foolish & Wickham is scum. Put them together & you have quite a handful. I cannot say I didn't warn you sooner!
